Pet care experience
Our last dog passed away in Dec of 2022. We deeply miss having a dog in our home, but are not at a point where we feel we are ready for a new member of our family. Our dog had complex medical issues, required multiple daily medications, and close monitoring. We were always struggling to find a place for him to stay while we were out of town because he could not be boarded. We thought we could try to provide this service to other people and fill our need for spending time with dogs at the same time. We have young dog, puppy, senior, anxious, medical needs experience.

Christa and her family were the best! Badger was his true, quirky self in their home, which tells us he was loved and well cared for. If anything, he got spoiled! Our family missed him and loved getting regular updates on our long trip. We look forward to future doggy care with this fabulous family.

I have a large fenced yard with a tall fence. I would ask that dogs be potty trained to stay at our house. Dogs may be allowed on the furniture depending on cleanliness of the dog or the piece of furniture. I would prefer they have their own bed or kennel to sleep in. We have small children so would need to be trusted around children.

A typical day
We love going for walks and hikes. Any day the weather is nice, we are playing outside. There is a dog park near our house that we would live to visit as well. We have several dog toys that your pouch can play with.

Availability
The majority of the time there is one adult home. There may be an occasional day where both adults could be gone up to 4-6hrs. This would try to be avoided if possible. They would get daily walks and if the family had an outing that the dog could come, we would take them.
