Pet care experience
Your dog will feel right at home when staying with us. We know how important it is to trust that your dog is comfortable, safe, relaxed, and happy. That's why we go above and beyond in trying to ensure your pet is recieving the best care possible, and that you are communicated with regularly on your dogs experience in our home. We have been taking care of dogs professionally for over 10 years. I was certified as a dog trainer years ago, and take pride in being knowledgeable in the different aspects of their lives. I’m a stay at home mom of two, so I am home most hours of the day. Sometimes I leave for an hour or two, but make sure that dogs have been fed and have water available and are in their crate if that is what is preferred. We have a large and fenced yard and a doggy door. Dogs have access to many dog beds and many comfy areas throughout the home. Large water dishes are available outside and in the kitchen. Our very friendly dog Koa will enjoy playing with your dog outside and napping together inside throughout the day.

I didn’t get a single picture or video and the only updates I got were when I asked. Didn’t hear anything from them outside of that.
As always Christa was a delight and immensely helpful. She also did little things that enhanced the stay without asking for praise, so we definitely appreciate her humility.

We have two young children under 4 years old, so it is very important that your dog is good with children (or keeps to themselves). We live in a duplex that we rent, so it is important that your dog is fully potty trained and does not bark or whine excessively. Lastly, your dog needs to get along with other dogs. Our neutered male dog is very friendly and playful. Sometimes we host more than one dog at our house too (up to 3 dogs, including our own). If your dog is scared of children or other dogs, this is probably not the best place for your pet.
A typical day
We start our days with a run in the fenced field across the street, if that is something you are comfortable with. Then we come home and eat breakfast and relax. We go on a family walk in the evening before feeding the dogs their evening meal.
