Hello! My name is Chrissy. I am a college graduate from Delaware Valley University with a B.S. in Conservation & Wildlife Management. I work for USDA Wildlife Services as an electric fencing technician, where I spend most of my days outside assisting landowners and protecting livestock from large carnivores in western Montana. My passion for working with animals began when I was 12 when I showed lambs for my local 4H club. I raised my own bunnies and practiced my younger dreams to become a veterinarian one day. My experiences have allowed me to grow in my knowledge and care for wildlife, agricultural, and domestic animals through administering shots, trimming hooves, banding birds, treating injuries, and more. I am patient and gentle with all animals, so you can be assured your pet would be in the best hands. I thoroughly enjoy helping people. We have had Chrissy stay in our home caring for our free roam house rabbit, Winnie, a few times for durations ranging from 1 to 2 weeks. She took care to read the information we left with her and learned about the special needs of our bunny, following all our instructions to keep Winnie on her accustomed schedule. She administers medications twice daily, cleans Winnie’s litter boxes, keeps Winnie’s play areas neat and clean, and spends time with Winnie so she doesn’t get lonely. Winnie is slow to trust, but Chrissy does a great job with her! Finding sitters familiar with free roam house rabbits is rare and we are so grateful to have her in our area. Chrissy leaves the house clean and tidy, which we so appreciate! She sends pictures and videos daily and is very communicative. When we have Chrissy staying with Winnie, we are able to travel worry-free. She is kind, smart, energetic, responsible, respectful and conscientious. It is without hesitation that I recommend Chrissy to care for your animal(s) and home!
Chrissy is a great pet sitter! I have 6 indoor cats, 2 dogs and 2 cocktails and she gave them the best care while I was gone for the 9 days. I was extremely concerned because my German Shepherd has degenerative milopathy and lost all use of her back legs. Chrissy took care of her just like I do, giving her her medicine everyday and wheelbarreling her up-and-down the stairs to go out. Taking a long overdue vacation to see your 2 and 1 year old grandkids when you have been housebound with a special needs pet is such a relief when you are fortunate enough to find a sitter like Chrissy and don't have to worry about the care of your pets while you are gone. Peace of mind was so essential for me to be able to enjoy my time away from my pets. She followed all instructions and left the house just the way I left it - neat, clean, and orderly. She was respectful and dedicated. I wouldn't hesitate to have her back again to look after my pets!
Chrissy did a wonderful job watching our three pups. We came home to happy dogs and a clean home. I would highly recommend her services
