Pet care experience
I’m a college student who has loved animals my entire life! I have experience working in four different veterinary clinics as a receptionist, so I have handled dogs of all personality types and comfort levels; I'm very comfortable with medications and pets with special health needs. My family had a labrador retriever that I helped care for for 13 years. I love adapting my approach to pups based on how comfortable they are, and getting to know their needs individually. It’s so fun to build a bond with a new dog and watch them open up to you as you spend more time together. I’m open to last minute visits if I'm available, as well as establishing a relationship with your pup or kitty and having a regular routine.

Chrissy has been caring for my 11 yo old lab for many years ! She has always been reliable, has a great friendly personality, and he absolutely loves when she is here with him. She works in a veterinary clinic and has a great love and respect for animals and that gives me piece of mind, especially when she has stayed with him for a weekend when I am away. She sends lots of pictures to show me just how much fun he is having with her ! Highly recommended !!
Christina is always so helpful when we need our animals watched. Very detail oriented and willing to stay over if it is going to be a long time we are gone. She loves our animals and will even take pictures of them during our trips to update us on how they are doing. Very reliable!

I have a soft spot for pets with medical conditions and older dogs, but I need full disclosure prior to sitting/walking to ensure I am on the alert for anything concerning! If your pet has anxiety or behavioral problems, I’d like to have a discussion with you beforehand so that I can keep in mind what will make them more stressed. I’d also like to be aware if they are generally unfriendly with other dogs, so that we can adapt our walks if need be.
A typical day
Depending on your preferences, we can explore new areas or we can stick to your pup’s regular walking routine. I like to let dogs tell me where they want to go (within reason) and I have no problem letting them sniff to their hearts’ content, or on the other hand being consistent with their training. If your pet likes to run, we can get our workout in together!
