Vegan-Friendly Dog/Cat Friend!
Pet care experience
Your furry friend has a home with me! I have decades of experience caring for dogs and cats and am currently step-parent to a rescue Dixie DIngo named Daisy (who lives elsewhere). My longtime feline companion was a vegan cat named Sammy, whom I lost in 2019 at the age of 14. I'm a vegan podcast host and health coach and prefer to feed animal companions real, plant-based food - and I will have plenty of yummy homemade vegan dog food on hand when your doggie comes to stay! It can be a great vegan retreat for your canine companion. That said, I will gladly defer to your food preferences for your own baby, since I know sudden nutritional changes can be tough on the tummy.

Chrissy was a wonderful sitter to my pet! She took her out for some runs which I can only imagine my dog loved! She sent pictures and kept in contact with us the whole time. Will definitely be having her watch Sophie again!
Chrissy was a great host to our standard poodle, Fillmore! He loved staying with her and gave her all the snuggles. Chrissy was very responsive and provide consistent updates. Our dog is pretty active, but she was able to handle him like a pro. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Chrissy was amazing with Smokey. Smokey had a great time with her. Chrissy sent me many photos throughout her stay and, she even feed her some of wonderful homemade dog food which Smokey seemed to love it! I feel extremely comfortable having her stay with Chrissy again in the future. If you choose to book with Chrissy, you won’t regret it!!!
Chrissy was an excellent sitter. She took great care of my cat Davy and sent lots of updates. I’ll definitely be using her again! Davy can’t wait to go back!

A typical day
If your dog is up for it, I'll take him or her on my morning run in Shelby Park, where there are all kinds of wonderful sights and smells to explore! If your dog is smaller and not quite up to that athletic level, there will be plenty of walks around my walking-friendly East Nashville neighborhood, lots of playing, and of course, lots of snuggles.

Availability
I work from home and am able to go on short dog walks throughout the day and a longer walk in the evening. I'm also a daily runner, so if your dog is up for it, he or she is welcome to accompany me during my morning outing in East Nashville's Shelby Park.
