Hi! My name is Chrissie. I have been a dog lover since the day I was born! I grew up in a dog loving family with a border collie, german shepard, husky, australian cattle dog, and a yellow lab! Aside from experience taking great care of my own family dogs, I have dog sat for many families’ dogs through Rover and through personal contacts. I am a warm and nurturing person who will give your dog the kindness, love, and attention that I would give my own. I am also incredibly responsible and clean. I am very responsible and nurturing, and will show your pet the love it needs while you are away. I am happy to take dogs on long walks or to the dog park or on runs with me. My experience administering medication Yes, I have given shots to a pet for diabetes before and have given medications of different sorts if needed.

Chrissie has been caring for our two dogs, Winston and Jasper, for several years. She was introduced to our family when they were young pups, and she quickly and enthusiastically learned their training routine. Since then, she's evolved with their changing needs. When we travel, Chrissie stays at our house and we wholeheartedly trust her in our home. We know she's giving our pups lots of love and exercise, and we appreciate the daily text or email updates of their happy faces. When our friends were married a couple years ago, we recommended Chrissie's care and she stayed with five large dogs while their owners were busy with wedding chaos - she was a huge blessing to them all! She is kind, honest, active and reliable. We can't recommend her enough!
Chrissie is a warm, responsible and trustworthy person who is amazing at caring for animals, especially dogs. She truly enjoys spending time with them, is incredibly responsible and has a ton of experience! She cares for animals as if they are her own. I have a medium sized Australian Shepard, Molly, who Chrissie has cared for many times. I was never worried that my dog was not in great hands, as Chrissie loved Molly and ensured she had exercise, food and water, and love and attention while I was away.
I would highly recommend Chrissie. Chrissie took great care of our two pups for a week. She was very reliable and flexible to meet our pups and family for the first time. This was the first time we left our pups for that long (and with someone we haven't met before)...and we don't think we could've picked a better sitter for our two boys - and the price was very reasonable. Chrissie sent us regular updates via text and email, including pics which made us smile. We got back to very happy, healthy pups that had a week long 'vacation' of activities themselves. I have known Chrissie for many years and in that time have seen her not only care for her own dogs but my dog, Molly, as well. Chrissie is highly adept at caring for dogs and besides providing for their basic needs, food, water and toileting, she truly enjoys engaging with them! She enjoys spending time, walking, and playing with each dog she interacts. She understands the importance of and how to keep the animals safe as well as providing medication if needed. Chrissie is a responsible, dependable, warm person who I can confidently say will care for your dog as if he/she were her own.

I do love all dogs. Of course, I would love to know more about the dog and family that I will be sitting for. If a dog is staying with me, I need to know that they are crate trained for sleeping and also house trained. We cannot accept dogs in our home that aren’t crate trained for sleeping.
A typical day
I am happy to take dogs for long walks or runs. I provide lots of cuddling and energy for the pups as well. We will have a great time together!

I work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday’s I go into an office, but I am home by 3:30pm. Weekends I am home.
