My fur baby fix/Study break!

Pet care experience

Howdy! I'm a nursing student in Arnold. I've had dogs my whole life. As an adult I've had nothing but room mates and friends with dogs. I'd love to have a dog of my own, but school hours are such that dog ownership would be borderline cruel. So I do this when I can. I'm free constantly currently (summer break). I know the area like the back of my hand and have been biking the parks and trails a lot the last 2 years. The more time I spend walking dogs, the calmer I am, the easier it is to study, and I can keep from having to have a 9-5. Everyone wins!

I’ve known Chris for a long time and he’s always loved dogs. I have two and he loves to play with them and walk them when he comes over. Dogs genuinely make him happy and I am certain it’s a mutual feeling!

Chris was an amazing help to me with my pets over many years! I adopted 2 senior dogs from the SPCA that had special needs and required a lot of attention. Chris far exceeded my expectations when caring for them on numerous occasions. He followed directions carefully and always went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable.

Chris walks our dogs and pet sits for us when we are out of town. The dogs love him and are always sad when we come home.

Safety, trust & environment

I'm very protective of the dogs in my care. Several times in my life I've had to scoop a dog (big and small) off the ground to safety. I'm always in tune with my surroundings and on the lookout for things like foxes and other dogs, not absent mindedly texting. I mean, I'd feel safe on a walk with me.

Information Chris S. would like to know about your pet

Likes, dislikes. How they are with other dogs. Things they can't eat/do. Hopes, dreams. Fears, phobias. Favorite toys. Any loose cats or ferrets that'll try to escape when I open the door? All that jazz.

A typical day

There's a park behind my house. Several actually. Woods, dog park, water, it has ALL the things. The closest playground actually just installed a paved track.
