WFH dog ready for friends!
Pet care experience
My hound Myra and I work from home and would love to have a friend around during our days at home for some additional entertainment. Myra likes to play during the day, but also enjoys daytime naps and gets along with all dogs and tends to go with the flow of what's around her.
Reviews
I have known Chris for many years now, and I knew he would be an amazing friend/pet sitter when I initially experienced how he treated my two pups and how they reacted to him when he would visit! He is incredibly selfless and ensures that his own pup is very well loved. Chris volunteered at an animal shelter and ended up fostering a beautiful girl named Myra, who turned out to be a foster fail and is now his loved fur baby. His character shows with all the love and care he puts into her and I truly feel he would be an excellent choice as a pet caregiver!
If you are looking for a kind, conscientious, attentive care giver for your pet, look no further than Chris! Leaving your pet with another person can be scary, but you can vacation confidently knowing that they are in Chris's care. Chris's own pup is a little rescue, and we have watched her blossom from a neglected, shy puppy into a healthy, sweet, fun-loving, confident good girl that plays so well with others, through Chris's attention and training (and plenty of rain or shine walks in the park!). Would absolutely recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
A dog's persona and signs is always what I look for upon arrival and when interacting with other dogs. Hackles, tail wagging, ear position, etc. are all important factors to make sure a dog is comfortable with their environment. I've had plenty experience taking Myra around the city and de-escalating her when she feels uncomfortable.

Information Chris R. would like to know about your pet
I'm comfortable administering oral medications with pill pockets and/or with food, etc. I've not administered injections, but I am comfortable doing so with instructions. Considering my dog, we prefer a dog that is willing to play, but also ready to take a snooze after sufficient playtime.
A typical day
I work from home, so my work day is from 9-5. I typically get up around 6-7 and immediately take go out with my dog for a 15-30 minute walk. We go for short walks throughout the day every 2 hours or so. After work and dinner, we go for a long walk for about a 30-60 minutes depending on the weather.

Availability
I work from home and can easily take dogs for walks and potty breaks when needed around my work schedule, which tends to be pretty flexible.
