Pet care experience
Since childhood, animals have played a key role in my life. Much thanks to my parents who never lost their roots or love of the family farm. I've raised everything from cats and dogs to cows and horses, including ferrets, sugar gliders, rabbits, chickens, waterfowl, sheep, goats and mules. I enjoy caring for animals and would enjoy caring for yours.

Chris is a great pet dad! I've known him for 15+ years and have seen how lovingly he cares for all his pets. I've left my own dog in his care a few times, and Chris is his favorite uncle!
My little Mia Pia loves when Chris comes to see her. She's convinced he's just a fan of hers, but I always feel so less guilty leaving her behind on those trips she just cannot accompany me on, if I know Chris will be with her. He doesn't mind my obsessive need to constantly check in on her, or if he does he never makes me feel bad. She does have a special diet and some health issues, but Chris has always given my Mia Pia the same love and care as I do, or pretty close. Mia and I give him 5 paws up!

My dogs would be kept physically separated unless under direct supervision. Only play with dogs their own size will be allowed. Food and treats will be distributed separately. My dogs are senior and neutered, if they growl it's usually because they're dreaming or got woke up.

A typical day
I find large breed, young and high-energy dogs benefit from games of fetch and having something to chew. Whereas, small breeds, seniors and cats generally prefer one-on-one attention and affection.

Availability
My days begin and end with animal care, namely walking dogs and feeding livestock. My schedule is always bracketed by animal care and it's a common use of my free time.
