I’ve had dogs & cats in my house since I was 6 years old. Most of which were adopted from our local animal shelter. Animals have always been a big part of our family. I understand how hard it can be to be away from your animals & I can assure you that I will do my very best to keep owners of their beloved animals updated with pictures etc while they are away. My dog (Tessa) and cat (Mimi) currently live with my parents back home and seeing pictures of them always brings the biggest of smiles.

As always, Ditto was delighted to stay with Chris.
Ditto loves staying over with Chris and his flatmates! He has been really responsive to messages and keeps in touch whenever Ditto is with him. Chris has been really accommodating towards our high energy corgi.
Nala and Kobe stayed with Chris for 6 nights. He looked after them so well. :) He sent us updates regularly and the dogs looked so relaxed and at home with him. I forgot to include their scale when I was packing so Chris went out of his way and bought a scale so he could weigh their food. We are so grateful to him for looking after our little ones and we will definitely be leaving them again with him in the future. He is reliable, caring, and attentive - 100% would recommend.

Care for animals is about providing a healthy and loving environment for them. Making sure they’re happy and healthy! Meeting their physical & emotional needs. Each individual dog is different. (I’ve had yorkies who are needy by nature, to ridgebacks who sometimes prefer napping without a cuddle) 2 bits of exercise a day is good & regular checks just to make sure everything is okay. I always also know when to ask if I am unsure of anything. No one knows a dog better than the owner.

It’s important that I am updated with any dietary requirements for your animal. Usual eating time etc, so we can stick to a familiar routine.
A typical day
Walks around Fog Lane park, and if they can play fetch then we play fetch too :) If a dog needs a run, I’d happily take the dog for a run too. Owner to let me know on arrival

Availability
I currently work from home Tuesdays & Wednesdays, but my work is quite happy to let me work from home any day of the week, so I can adjust as suits. When working from home, my mornings are usually very quiet, giving me plenty of time to walk & play with your dogs. Living right next to Fog Lane park is great for this! I tend to try get up around 7 for a walk and coffee (dog sitting or not) just to get the day going. Afternoons (2pm-4pm) is usually when I have online meetings, but usually just stick an ear piece in and get on with house chores etc. Then evenings I’m normally chilling, watching TV & making dinner.
