Pet care experience
Animals have been part of my life from when I was just a little boy. I grew up taking care of cats, dogs, hamsters, turtles, you name it! Dogs are now my favorite, I get so much joy being around them. In the past 2 years I’ve had to put down two dogs (a 17yr old and a 16yr old). Needless to say I have lots of experience taking care of senior dogs. I’m not ready for another pup of my own yet, but would love to be a quality companion for your fur babies while you’re away.

Chris has a very special way with animals, and if you’re looking for someone to love on and take excellent care of your fur babies, he’s your guy! Since I’ve known him, he’s had a cat, dogs, and he took care of my mom’s horses, so he’s very comfortable with animals. But more than that, he adores them and they adore him. Your animals will have the best of both worlds as he’s gentle and warm, but also loves to play! Chris is incredibly responsible and tidy. He will be a perfect houseguest, keep everything safe, and once his stay is over, your pup will be thrilled to see him again.

Not to worry if you have a senior dog that just likes to have company and not be too active. I am also very comfortable administering oral meds (both pill and syringe). Eating times, desired activities, ‘house rules’, if your pup is friendly with other dogs/humans
A typical day
First of all, lots of pets & love. I like to get down on the ground with them and play. Walks along the river and neighborhood and dog park visits if your pup does well with other dogs!

Availability
I’m pretty much just looking for those in need of weekend help. I work Mon-Fri 9-530 so don’t have much time throughout the week. I also don’t like to leave dogs alone, so that’s why I prefer to stay on weekends. Sat-Sun I will be there 24/7 with your animals :)
