Pet care experience
Hi, my name’s Chris! I grew up surrounded by pets and find I have an affinity for befriending animals of all kinds very quickly. Between friends and family I have vast experience with dogs of all sizes from dobermans to chihuahuas as well as many breeds of cats with varying levels of friendliness towards strangers. I happily house sit/pet sit for friends and family frequently, and recently I had a friend tell me about Rover and suggest I create a profile and offer my services to a wider audience. Ideally I would like to focus on house sitting, and develop an ongoing relationship where you have someone you can trust to watch your home and pets while you’re away, and your pets can become more familiar and comfortable with me over time when I come to stay. I’m happy to discuss short term or long term pet sitting. Whether it’s a couple days or a couple months, I’m here to help!

Highly recommend!! I was very hesitant to leave my dogs with anyone as I have two rescues, both with very unique, and sometimes tricky personalities. Chris took amazing care of both my girls with regular and reassuring communication. I was sent pictures and he made me feel comfortable reaching out as much as I needed to. Chris stayed in my home for the 7 days I was on vacation and when I got home, I think my home was cleaner than when I left it. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone considering pet care. I will definitely be reaching out to him in the future to watch my girls :)
I’ve known Chris for many years and I know who he is on a deep level. He’s a kind, ambitious, hard working person who loves animals. They are drawn to him as much as he is to them. I trusted Chris in looking after my place while I was away on vacation for a month and he looked after my home as if it were his own. He also gave my dog Hudson the best care you could ask for. There wasn’t a moment while I was away that I was worried about Hudson and it made my trip that much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a responsible person to look after your animal who will actually take the time to play, supervise, protect, and make sure they are fed and taken care of to the highest standard look no further because you found your guy! I will be going away again a couple of times this year and Chris will be watching over my now 2 dogs and I’m happy that I have such a reliable person to do so. Thanks again Chris!

I’m very tidy and organized, and when home sitting I do my best to make sure your home is just as you left it when you return. I’m comfortable walking dogs of any size, and have plenty of experience with dogs who aren’t so friendly with unfamiliar dogs while on walks.

A typical day
As someone who works from home and has a very flexible schedule, your pets can expect to get plenty of time and attention from me. Whether we’re going for walk around the neighborhood or hanging out at home, they can expect just as much attention from me as they would from their parents.

I make my own work schedule, and work from home most days. This affords me the luxury of being able to give pets lots of attention throughout the workday as well as during the evenings.
