Pet care experience
I have grown up with pets from a young age, ranging for dogs to cats to rabbits and guinea pigs and fish. My first ever job was at a dog kennels when I was 13 where i started as a dog walker and loved being there so much I asked to stay longer so took on feeding, play time and cleaning duties also, was such a great first job. I have been the owner of both rescue and non-rescue dogs in the past so understand a little of what challenges and needs each can have. I have also been taking care of friends and families dogs for a number of years now and 2 years ago I started petsitting on another site (trusted house sitters) where I have a 5star review profile and have completed sits both in the UK and also abroad. I have joined Rover also to expand the opportunities I have for petsitting and expand the services I can offer. I look forward to building up some great clients and getting some amazing reviews from you all here as the service and care I will offer will be exceptional, I love animals and it’s a pleasure to care for them

I felt very comfortable leaving Tess with Chris. His home was all set up for her and he had a lovely and laid back manner with her. When he took her for a walk he sent me some reassuring photos which I appreciated. I am now happy to leave her with him on a weekly basis.
Chris is just fantastic, he’s easy going and a natural with dogs. He’s been an absolute god send for Maisie and I as she loves spending time with him and feels at home in his home. Chris takes her on walks, interacts with her and supports boundaries and routine. I am so glad I found Chris. Really grateful and appreciative of him and his approach and will miss his services (because we are relocating). Very highly recommended 🙂
Chris has looked after my 2 labs on a few occasions now and he always takes really good care of them. He sends frequent updates too and I fully trust him to take care of them and to have them when we go away. Would definitely recommend him to look after anyone’s dogs.
Kudos to Chris, Izzy was a happy contented mutt while we were away, she hardly noticed that I was back home. Thanks for a perfect stay and being the ideal dog sitter, we would be really happy if you are free to come and stay again when we need you!

At my home I have a fenced garden which pets are free to go out in, and also a cosy home that they are free to roam around, I can limit their access to match the rules you have in place at your home, i.e if they don’t go upstairs at your home or on the furniture then I am happy to be consistent and not allow them to do that here, and vice versa, if they are allowed that luxury at your home I am happy for them to do those things here too. For pet sitting at your home, I will understand the routine that they have in place and stick to it as required.

I like to know about the dogs usual routine and I will certainly need to know about any medication, diets or allergies that they have so I will be asking about this before the sit to ensure I am clear on what we can and cannot do.
A typical day
My home is well situated with nearby fields and also not being far from the Bowring Park and also slightly further afield is Appley Woods and The Wrekin. Depending on the dogs activity level we can have fun walks in these locations, I also like to go to Telford Town park and also Attingham park, so if they are up for a short drive in the car there is a whole host of new smells and locations that we can explore.

Availability
I work from home in my IT job and therefore am around during the day to provide companionship, security and enjoyment to your pets. I take regular breaks from my laptop so can provide regular toilet breaks, walks, cuddles to pets during the day as well. I am a fairly quiet and laid back individual who enjoys quiet evenings at home.
