Vet Tech who needs to walk too!

Pet care experience

I am a Veterinary Technician who is currently waiting to take his national certification exam to work in the state of Tennessee. I have been working in doggy daycares and vet clinics for the last eight (8) years and have loved every minute of it. I recently moved to Tennessee from the Pacific Northwest and would like to continue to care for pets even though I’m not in a clinic yet. Even when I return to clinics I still plan to keep doing walks and home visits if for no better reason than to get out of my house everyday.

Saying Chris loves dogs is an understatement. He has always had dogs, works in a local doggie daycare and is pursuing education in veterinary medicine.

Safety, trust & environment

In my clients homes I make sure to follow all instructions given for pet care. I have a great deal of experience working with pets that need medications and special care after working in an Emergency Clinic, and I do my best to clean up and leave the home in the same state I received it.

Information Chris G. would like to know about your pet

I will work with any breed and temperament. I would like to know if a dog has shown aggression towards people dogs or cats in the past so I can prepared for that. I would also like to know if owners have walking tools they use with their dogs. This includes shock collars, prong collars, gentle leaders, and pinch collars.

A typical day

I do a lot of walking as well as just hanging out and playing in the back yard. Kong’s, balls, frisbees, and bones are everywhere and dogs always have access to both the toys and me to play.
