I had a dog as a child and my own children grew up with large dogs Our last pet was a rescue from Battersea,Old Windsor.

I have a large garden with plenty of room for games and play and I would tend to be outside with a dog when it is outdoors. I would expect a dog to sleep in its own bed indoors.

I would obviously appreciate as much information as possible about a dog's usual behaviour, likes and dislikes. It's important that I know what the dog is used to but I would not have a dog in the bedroom.
A typical day
I like to walk in local fields and woods. My garden is large enough for throwing balls and playing games. I often visit Black Park with friends and family when they are walking their dogs.

I am a retired teacher and although busy, I have plenty of free time. I am active and enjoy walking and being outdoors whatever the weather.
