I am humbled how much a dog can make someone so happy. I have been volunteering, taking care of cats and dogs, at the ASPCA for years. Growing up I always brought animals home to take care of, to my parent's dismay. So, I understand how much a pet means to their owner. They are not just an animal they are your friends, they should be treated as such. As some background, I have owned 2 dogs, one of which was a teacup multi poo named Poppy. I also owned a rottweiler named Roxy. Unfortunately, my college did not allow pets so I had to say goodbye to them and leave them at home. I have spent so much of my life devoted to taking care of and rehabilitating dogs. No challenge is too big, and no need is too small.
