Of all the dog lovers I know (and I know a lot), Chris is undoubtedly the most passionate. No matter the size, breed, or age of dog, she loves them all. Chris has cared for my dog Charlie on more occasions than I can count. Charlie is a complicated older dog (9 years old) with numerous health issues, including diabetes and Cushing's disease. He is also blind as a result of cataracts caused by his diabetes. Chris is one of just a handful of people I trust to administer his insulin and his meds when I am not home to do so myself. Charlie may be blind, but he still loves walks as much as ever. However, walking him requires vigilance to ensure that he stays away from any hazards that he cannot see. Charlie loves going on walks with Chris! She has even walked him on a tandem leash with her (much bigger!) dog and everyone has a great time! On an unrelated note, Chris is also a talented photographer who takes the best doggie pictures! She really has a knack for capturing a dog's personality in a photo!
