I've Never Met a Mess I Couldn't Master ;) - I Care for Yours as Though They are My Own Still here? Read on... Hi! My name is Chris. So, you want to know more about me and why I’m the perfect fit for your furry family? Well, I love your little ones and I haven’t even met them yet! That’s a good start. Our furry, finned, and feathered friends are my passion! Raising, rescuing, training, and spoiling- I have been a lifetime animal lover and I would love to bring my energy, enthusiasm, and experience to you! Seriously, we’re going to have so much fun together! We have always had a soft spot for our animal friends, especially those in need. Over the years we have rescued, fostered, and adopted dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, hedgehogs, rodents, and birds...just to name a few. We have 2 huge, beautiful cats (Fu and Batman) that we rescued and raised from kittens, and 7 wacky, wonderful rescue ferrets (Loki, Sonic, Charlie, Friedrich, Mochi, Sylvester, Ghost). Few things in life are more rewarding than helping our little friends live happy, healthy lives. Caring for animals is, and always has always been such an integral part of my life- I love all animals as though they are my own and love to experience the world with them, side by side. Please understand that this is no part-time gig for me. Taking care of your babies, be them furry, feathery, scaled, or finned, is my life and passion. I am a member in good standing with Professional United Pet Sitters LLC. I am certified in Pet CPR & First Aid through both Pro Pet Hero and the American Red Cross. I know how important our babies are to us, and I absolutely understand the need and desire to feel confident in who you are trusting with the well-being of yours. I work hard to supply that confidence to you and that well-being to your little ones.
Reviews
After Chris’s last visit he informed us he’s leaving Chicago. Gigi is going to miss him very much. Whichever city is getting him is about to have some lucky fur babes. 15/10 recommend Chris.
Chris is amazing!!! He has watched my 2 cats several times now, including most recently during a 10 day vacation. While one of my cats is easy-going, the other is not so friendly to anyone except me - Chris is extremely patient with her and treats her better than any past pet sitter I have had, respecting her boundaries but always still making sure she feels comfortable knowing there is a human there to be with her while I am away. He spends a lot of time with them, and his updates are so helpful and keep my mind at ease knowing that not only are my cats being fed and litter box scooped and such, but they are truly being cared for as if they were his own with a great amount of love and attention. With past pet sitters, I have been so anxious when out of town wondering how they were being treated and if they were okay, but with Chris my mind is completely at ease as I completely trust him to take the best care of them as possible. Every time I return home, I return to a tidy apartment with happy cats. I hope Chris remains pet sitting forever because I never want to use another pet sitter! Thank you Chris!!!
Chris was great with our dog! Would definitely use him again in the future.
Chris is reliable, provides good care and updates, and our cats like him. What more can we ask for? 😊

Information Chris E. would like to know about your pet
I want to know as much as possible about your little (or big) one. I need the basics (age, breed, diet, health issues, medications, etc.) but I'd also like to know the more intimate details. For example: major likes (favorite toys, treats, parks, friends, blankets, etc) or dislikes (fears, anxieties, "no-touch" body areas, smells, sounds, rival animals, etc)? No detail is trivial when it comes to the well-being of your best friends! I love all the shapes and the sizes, and the breeds. As long as they are *fairly* well behaved (hey, I'm not perfect either), we're going to get along swimmingly. I try my best to be as empathetic as possible to their situation (new people and smells) by monitoring their body and vocal language, and by allowing them to set the limits for contact- approaching me as they feel more comfortable. Maybe your little one just needs a treat or a tickle to break the ice? That's Cool. Every personality is different and, to be honest, I rarely ever meet a pet who doesn't respond to good-old patience :)
A typical day
Well, that depends on your pup and what they like to do. Walk N’ Roll! Leash? Check. Ball? Double-check. Water? Cold and fresh. I'm ready to GO! If you have an established or preferred route, that’s great! Otherwise, we will get along just fine exploring the neighborhoods and parks we pass through on our journey! Neither pouring rain, nor blistering sun, nor frigid snow, nor sleet, nor hail, nor…er, you get the point…will rain on our parade (see what I did there?). Dog Parks and Beach Recreation Would your little one fancy a romp around the dog park or a swim at the beach? It’s a date! Which one is our favorite? What shall we do when we get there? Are we a social butterfly? Do we have to sniff all the butts? That’s cool. Do we just have too much energy to burn? Sounds great! We can run around, play tag, play frisbee, play ball, play run-around-frisbee-ball-tag! Are we too cool for school? Do we prefer to hang in the shade and throw shade? Fancy a tummy rub in the grass? Your wish is my command. We can run and play or relax and snuggle...Either way, we're gonna have a good time.
