Pet care experience
I have had dogs in the family growing up, and have been pet-sitting for friends and family throughout the years. I have experience looking after young/old dogs and cats (ages 2-15). I currently live with roommates who have a yellow lab (2yo) and a black lab (9yo), so I am well versed in looking after juveniles/seniors.

Chris did a superb job with my two dogs and cat. I have been looking for a sitter for a while as my two shelter dogs are reluctant (that’s a nice way to put it) with strangers. Chris took the time to meet them twice before staying with them. When he came over to stay, the dogs took a moment to warm up but Chris’ overall calm demeanor won them over and by the end of the night they were sitting in his lap. He is a bit of a miracle worker. Additionally, Chris kept me updated with photos and was quick to respond to texts. We will be booking with him again.
Chris did great! My cats were happy when I came back home.
Chris is a real find! Not only did our cat love him, but WE DID TOO! Dolly, our cat, was well fed, happy and playful when we arrived. She didn't seem to miss us at all. (Hmmmm, maybe we should be jealous...) But more than that, the house was clean, everything was picked up and the essential chores were done. He had even washed the bedding in the guest bedroom before we got home. We will not hesitate to hire Chris again, and we recommend him highly.
Not only does Chris love your pets, but they will love him as well. He's seen our dogs and cats multiple times and they're always happy to see him. He's even good with high energy dogs as well (we have two shibas and one is still very much a puppy), and is always patient and kind with them. I know he's one of the cat's favorite people in general even. Chris has always been accommodating and has taken great care of our animals, even with an extremely picky dog and a cat on a special diet. I know they're safe and well cared for with him.

I keep water bowls filled, feed on schedule, and am always mindful of when pets need to go to the bathroom. I pay extra close attention to body language, so it is very easy for me to attend to various needs.

As long as I am aware of a dog/cat's demeanor ahead of time, we will almost always get along. After demeanor, general scheduling (wake up, eating preferences, sleep), and leash habits when walking.
A typical day
There is a wide open park 2 minutes away from my residence that is the perfect location for walks/games. Plenty of great areas nearby that I have yet to explore, so every day could be an adventure!
