Pet care experience
Hey I'm Chris! [Experience+Training] I've grown up with dogs and cats in the same home my whole life, to me they are part of the family. Before joining Rover, I have done pet-sitting many times, including a wide variety of dogs and cats. Two of the cats I looked after were blind and very old, and had to be fed medicine in their food so I am used to that. I have also completed a 15-hour online course on raising a dog from a puppy to a senior, which focuses on behaviours and mannerisms that dogs display and what they mean, and how to care for them properly. I go to the gym regularly and have alot of experience with energetic dogs so anything from a lazy King Charles spaniel to a fiesty Doberman, I can handle! 🐶 *I have a registered first aid certificate from St John's ambulance after a course I completed, aswell as this I had work experience in a veterinary clinic when I was in highschool.

Chris was brilliant with our energetic cockapoo Ford. We got daily updates to let us know he was still behaving and even gave Ford a bath before we picked him up so he came home squeaky clean. Chris kept up with Ford's training and we got him back better behaved than when we left him. We would not hesitate to use Chris again and highly recommend.

Such a good experience for us and for our golden retriever “Rubson”. Chris has been very kind, sending news and photos almost every days Rubson had also met and walked with other dogs, keeping on socialisation. Rubson also had a bath … Nice, happy, and smelling so good when we came back and could hugged him again. [Environment] I have a spacious flat with alot of open area with a secure main door. Easily cleanable laminate flooring covers most of the house in case any accidents happen. The location is great for dogs aswell, I have a large open area just outside my flat with grass, trees and sunshine with the beach only a 5 minute walk away, I could take your dog down to the seaside and let them splash around in the water or run along the vast sands until they had gotten as much exercise as they wanted. 🌊⛱️

A typical day
What kind of a day your dog has really depends on their preference! If they're excitable and energetic I will tire them out with a run and play session, my favourite is tug of war. Or if your dog is more relaxed and wants to soak in the sunshine we can chill out on the sofa and watch some TV together. Your pet, after all is a guest in my hotel, so the day goes whichever way they want.✨

[Schedule] I am a student studying at University which means I spend almost all of my time at home. As for the summer I am in Aberdeen the whole time, and I am very flexible with any arrangements no matter how last minute.
