I've taken care of many types of animals for most of my life. I've tamed the most wild animal of all. Children. Making animals and others happy makes me happy. I am self employed and only working part-time so my availability is very open. I can be here for any last minute or emergency needs. If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you! Trips to parks, walking the trails, and lounging outside are every day occurrences. If you run with your baby let me know and they can tag along with me as well. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I don't drink or smoke.

Chris took good care of my dog for 3 days and provided a welcoming environment. His dog Charlie is very sweet and friendly and my dog loved having such a good companion. Will consider booking again with Chris.
Chris was awesome with our pup Max. His dog, Charlie was super friendly and gave our dog a playmate during his stay! We would definitely love to book again next time we’re in Gainesville :)

What makes your pet the happiest? Any weird quirks? Favorite joke? The distance your pet is comfortable walking. For example our good boy starts getting tired around a mile so I actively track our hikes to make sure he's getting exactly what he needs.
A typical day
I love to stimulate pets to keep them active and happy. I live in the country off Lake Wauburg so we take numerous walks outside and sometimes just sit on the dock and watch the wildlife. We also have hammocks and a fire pit that we relax by. There are several fantastic hiking trails nearby as well. I have a 10 year old and a 7 year old that will also make sure your pet gets plenty of love and gets all that energy out.
