Chris and his wife cared for two dogs (plus their own) for 3 months as the dogs' owner (Chris's boss at the time) was moving out of the country. The plan was the owner would retrieve the dogs after a week or two. The dogs were untrained and had incontinence issues, but I Chris and Emily both be extremely patient, kind, and generous with the dogs over the time they watched them. The owner ended up not retrieving his dogs and Chris and Emily ended up working to find good homes for them. While this took several weeks they eventually found good families for each dog, covering all additional costs out of our own pockets.

Chris is an excellent pet parent to their Boston Terrier (Sharky). He is great with cats and dogs (I only know about cats and dogs). He is very caring and conscientious when it comes to pets. They are part of the family. He even chased down my Shiba Inu for me (no small feat since Shiba's like to run as fast as they can for as long as they can).
