We are a retired couple that lost our Sheltie last year and lost a piece of our heart at the same time. We would love to be of help to people who need to travel for business or vacation. Barbara had to travel extensively in her career days as did I to a lesser extent and know how hard it was to find loving special care for Micah. We love dogs and will find a new friend soon, but would love to spend time at home with your special friend. We have a very dog friendly property with fenced portion and large "open" area for exercise. Why I love dog sitting We have been married 45 years and have owned dogs for most of those years. Additionally we both come from avid dog and cat loving families so were taught from childhood the responsibilities and joys of pet ownership. We have cared for puppies, dog behavioral problems, acutely sick dogs, senior dogs and last stage of life dogs. Meet my pets We currently have two cats. They are strictly indoor cats, spayed and declawed. They will be curious about your dog, but more than likely will adjourn for a nap. About my yard We live on a 3/4 acre pie shaped lot. The front yard is open and they will only be taken out front on a leash for their walk. Most outdoor time/potty time will be in our fenced backyard. We have approximately 1/2 acre outside the fence which can be used for further exercise, running, with owner approval and as their discipline off leash allows.
