I earned my experience the honest way by volunteering at the Athens dog shelter while I was a graduate student at UGA. I spent a year walking, playing with, training, and caring for dogs. They loved the time spent free. I have never met a dog I didn't like, and they each have their own personalities-- it's true! For walks we have a large outdoor field, as well as the local county park. We also can visit the Square, which is very dog friendly, for some time socializing. Boarding is also available.
