I was raised by a vet tech who taught me everything I know, and have been helping her on rover with her dog sitting ever since she began when I was young.
Reviews
Didn’t follow care instructions and left 2.5 hours earlier than specified end time in booking. Consistently had people over to our home without any prior discussion. Sent multiple passive aggressive messages about our anxious dog(s) which he was informed about ahead of time.
Chris was a wonderful caregiver to our 2 dogs. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for an attentive and caring pet sitter for short stints.
Chris was an absolutely fantastic sitter! Chris was on time, went on walks, sent picture updates, and was in constant communication while we were away. At no time did I feel that our dogs were not cared for perfectly. I could not ask for a better sitter for our dogs and we will 100% book Chris again as soon as we are in need of a sitter.
Chris is honestly one of the most responsible people I know when it comes to animals. The animals in his care, from personal experience, have not had a single thing missing. He has great energy overall and gets along with dogs seamlessly, he's had a couple years of experience with it as well, long and short term. I've known him for a couple of years now and not once has he failed a dog in his care. I genuinely believe you won't find better and more loving care if you tried.

Any accidents that may have happened will be cleaned up, and I will message you in case it may be a medical issue or something you worry about. Any poop will be picked up in the yard if need be, After our walk, I'll spend the rest of the time playing and going through any ritual your dogs need.

Please tell me any dietary restrictions when it comes to treats. If your dog is disabled or injured, I will likely decrease time spent outside for a walk to try and make sure they're okay, but will make up that time with plenty of cuddles and more relaxed playtime. I also MUST know if your dog has a muzzle so I can figure out how to put it on during the meet and greet, as all of the ones I've seen are different.
A typical day
When I arrive at the house, the first thing I'll do is leash your dog and take them out for a walk, or right out into the yard. I focus on them going potty first, then we walk for about 10 minutes out, to make it about the same amount of time back, making it a 20 minute walk. Sometimes if your dog is younger and has more energy, or if you request, we can go for longer. Once we get back home, it's 10-15 minutes of playtime and for food if they need it. I will also bring my own little bag of treats if you don't have them, so they can feel more at peace being walked by someone other than mom or dad. Of course, I won't give any of you request for me not to. Finally, I put them back in their crate and do a once over of the place to make sure everything is fine and not out of order, then out I go.

I'm currently between jobs, giving me full free hours from when I wake up to when I go to bed, I'm not in college just yet, so I don't have to worry about classes.
