Hi! My name is Chris, I appreciate you taking the time to consider me for your pet and housing care needs. Through care and empathy, I have independently pet and house-sat for the past 20 years, gaining the lasting trust of owners and their furry friends. I do this by pre-meeting with the home owners and pets to go over the details and schedules necessary for proper care of their home and pets. Chris took excellent care of our boy Duke while we were traveling. Very responsive communicator! He truly cares about the animals he cares for and is very in tune and concerned for their individual needs.
Chris helped us out last minute to watch our dogs for a week at our house, which was a huge relief. He took good care of our house and dogs and we would definitely recommend him!
Chris takes great care of Roo. He sends pictures during our time away and checks in. The house was spotless when we arrived home.
I'll admit that I'm prejudiced when it comes to my son, Chris Braun, but many of my fondest memories of him relate to the way he loved the pet dogs and cats we had while he was growing up. He could often be found curled up in front of the fireplace with our Golden Retriever just giving and receiving affection. Aside from the pets we had at our home, Chris has always made a point to pay attention to and pet dogs that are being walked (with permission of course) around the community. Finally, I'm aware that he has served as a dog sitter numerous times for a variety of folks around the Durango and is consistently asked to repeat this service for people that have hired him.

A typical day
I am very active in the outdoors and would love to include your pet in my adventures, based on their ability and comfort level. I regularly go on runs and have leash-training for running with dogs. I’m extensively familiar with the local trail system as well as the numerous parks and public spaces.

I understand how important regular routines are to you and your pets. With considering of location and needs, I try my best to fit your pets schedule around my own work/life obligations. To prepare, I communicate my own schedule in advance of the sitting period and work with you to fit in the home and pet care you expect.
