loving, bubbly, and caring sitter!

Pet care experience

During my junior and senior year of highschool, I dog sat everyday for two years. I have experience with big and small, old and young dogs. It would make me just as happy as it would make you to take care of your pets. you're doing ME the favor! I love dogs and understand how valuable they are to families. I am responsible, educated, caring, and playful when it comes to pets. I will treat your animals the same way I would treat mine. Spending my time with animals isn't about the money, but about the experience. It is my passion and I would love to help you keep your pets happy!! Nursing school has also equipped me to be compassionate and caring towards those who need it the most.

Chloe watched our 9 year old dachshund for an extended period while we were on our honeymoon. I was nervous leaving him because he had never stayed with her and we were going to be gone for so long in another country. Chloe put my worries at ease by sending daily updates and pictures. Our dog clearly enjoyed the snuggles and love Chloe gave during his stay. Thanks Chloe!

I am... EXTREMELY upset with my service from this stay. First, I am asked when I drop the pups off what they're night routine is to which I tell her they sleep in the bed with me at night and the crate is only for when you go out. Well, next morning I get a text asking for tips on how to calm them down at night because they were barking and crying in the crate. Maybe she forgot? I let her know that they don't go in the crate for bed time. But also if they're crying and barking all night maybe you should... I don't know.... Take them out and find a way to soothe them??! That day she has them in the crate AGAIN while she's home (WHY ARE THEY IN THE CRATE??!) because she was "cleaning up a mess that Murray made in the bathroom". Again, why was he in the bathroom? Did you put them there for bedtime? Did you put them in there during the day? What is going on here! But, she said that while her and her roommate were cleaning the bathroom they heard a mans voice in the apartment say "whoops, sorry" and then the dogs go absolutely crazy and then the door closes. Chloe said she then went to see what happened and there was a significant amount of blood (with chunks) in the crate. According to Chloe, the blood wasn't from the dogs. They weren't bleeding. BUT there was a blood trail going up the steps to another apartment??! Okay, whatever. Maybe that happened but then she said she called the complex and there was nothing they could do and so she just dropped it? No cops no other questions? Something just isn't adding up with this story and it makes me so upset and angry knowing that I trusted my babies in this ladies hands and all these things happened within a few days of a stay. Then, she says they had accidents in the crate multiple times... They only go in the crate if you put them in the crate. Not while they're hanging out during the day. So this makes me feel like they were locked up the entire time of their stay which is SO SO UPSETTING. I picked the dogs up this morning just wanting to get them out of that situation and when I pull up to her apartment I hear my dogs barking. I look up to her patio, and there they are. Locked outside on her patio with the door closed. By themselves. Now, I take them home and Murray has been having diarrhea and vomiting. My thoughts were what if he was poisoned. Chloe said he ate the blood found in the crate before she can clean it and if it was some random person's blood/skin how do we even know he didn't have something that is now being passed to my Murray?? Or that he didn't eat something he wasn't supposed to while staying with Chloe?? Rover only covers if it is proven to be something done at the stay and only AFTER you paid $250 out of pocket first. And only with a reimbursement after being reviewed. This is ridiculous. My poor dogs had to deal with this kind of treatment for 4 nights and now I have lost my trust in this website for their sitters. I write this as a red flag. Chloe's "resume" was glowing which is why I chose her and I am so upset right now. I'll never use her again and you shouldn't either.

We will definitely use Chloe again! She was always very responsive to questions via text message and left us a note detailing what she did with our pets each day. Our pup, Duncan, managed to make a big mess of the kitty litter to welcome her to the house, but she cleaned everything up so well we probably wouldn't have even noticed. We came home after the weekend to a clean house and happy pets! Chloe is great!

Chloe was great! I could tell that my little one enjoyed her time with her for the weekend. This was my first time using Rover and I thought my dog would have separation anxiety, I ended up being the one with it lol. I will certainly use Chloe in the future. She was sure to love my dog like it was her own. Thank you!

I love ALL DOGS! I want to get a dog after i am done with nursing school. Until then, let me spend my time with your dogs! Nothing would make me happier. I would need to know any special needs the dog has, any medications and times to take them, any toy preferences (just as important, right?), any allergies to dog foods or treats, and sleeping preferences.

A typical day

I am a nursing student at CCHS. I live in an apartment and decided to let my dad keep our dog at home. This broke my heart more than I ever thought it could, and I would love to have a furry friend back in my everyday life. I did not choose this job for money, but rather for companionship. I would love to walk and play with the dogs during my time with them. I will utilize all my resources to make sure your pet is as happy as can be.
