Winter walkies and snow hikes!

Pet care experience

An animal lover since birth, I have trained dogs and horses with natural methods since 2008. I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life and worked with and cared for horses for upwards of 15 years. I am comfortable caring for senior dogs and administering medications as well as working with puppies who still need training.

Frankie had a great walk with Chloe! My energetic boy came back content and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Chloe, and will definitely be using her dog walking services again.

Chloe is phenomenal! I'd never used Rover before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Chloe has been superb. She's extremely reliable, and sends updates and photos of my dog during the day - he's had a great time hanging with her and her two dogs! Chloe responds very quickly, and is super trustworthy. I was also new to the area, and she was nice enough to send me recommendations of stuff to do in Manchester. I can't recommend Chloe highly enough!

Chloe and Alex did a great job with Charlie. There were regular updates of pictures and a video. Although she was happy to see us when we picked her up, she seemed in to rush to get in the car and leave. ("But I'm having so much fun here and there's another dog to play with!") High scores all around. Thank you!

She did a really good job on such short notice. She drove out to the middle of no weare… and she took my moose outside for a walk and to use the bathroom and even played with him for a bit.it was very much needed and I worried a little less about my little guy.

I have a fenced in yard and garden that my two very friendly dogs enjoy the run of when we are not heading off on an adventure. I also have a sun room outfitted with crates, blankets, and toys, for animals that prefer their own quiet space. You can be sure you’ll receive plenty of pictures of your pet having a blast on walks or getting some lovins on a drop-in.

A typical day

I’m a big believer of using intermittent mental stim, quiet/rest time, and physical stim. For mental stimulation, I like to do short individual and group training sessions. Anywhere from teaching new tricks, to just learning the basics, I’ll meet you’re dog at their level! They will learn how to listen to commands alone and while in a group- and perform synchronized tricks! Although- disclaimer, some excel more at this than others! I use natural methods of training that are founded in asking for cooperation from and animal rather than forcing their compliance. Like for example, open door crate training. I focus a lot on house and pack manners! I believe quiet time and rest are important skills for dogs to learn! More active resters usually get a Kong and a quiet space to be along to decompress and settle down for a period of time. And some of the more experienced resters just take a nap on the couch or chew a benebone to keep themselves entertained. This time is usually spent inside, and playing with each other is discouraged in these moments. Lots of dogs actually need to learn how to entertain themselves in non- destructive ways and they can’t do that if they are playing with a friend! Physical stimulation is done by way of group play, one on one play, and daily adventures to walks like the Rail Trails, Massabesic, Uncanoonuc, Livingston, and the conservation trails and boat landing behind the Hooksett Dog park. I also will pack everyone up and head to nearby Barnstead to a family beach on Suncook Lake for swimming and water fun!
