I came to Lynchburg to go to Liberty University and graduated in 2018. Now I’m 24 and living and working in the area full time. All throughout college and now after college, I have always found a niche for dogsitting! From families at church, to friends and referrals, I’ve been a consistent sitter for several sweet pups. I even had a friend that owned a dogsitting business that moved out of the area a few years ago and passed along her families and dogs to me to take over watching! I also have experience with cats. I love sending owners pictures and updates while I’m taking care of their pets. I know they enjoy hearing how they are doing! I have watched and walked dogs of all different sizes, ages and energy levels. I’ve also taken care of dogs that were elderly and needed medications. I am familiar and comfortable with prong collars! If the owner is comfortable, I enjoy taking dogs to dog parks or walks downtown. I am comfortable with them in my car. For overnight sitting, I would stay in your home in order to be with your dogs as much as possible. I do work a full time Mon-Fri job, however my hours are flexible for when I go in and leave. I am not able to stop by during the day at lunch to let out dogs. I am also more than willing to do basic house keeping/cleaning/ watching while I am staying at your place. You can be assured that your pup will be taken out several times a day and played with indoors or outdoors with their favorite toys. Dog walks can be done anytime during the weekends and most times during the week days. These would last 30 minutes long. If there is an area for them to play fetch, this is a great time for this as well. Dogsitting for me is a way for me to meet and love on some pups while making some extra money along the way!
