Pet care experience
I have always been an animal lover, and of dogs especially (I am the type of person who has to say hi to every dog I pass). In 2013 I owned a pug with special needs named Pinkerton for a couple years before I lost him in a child custody battle (breakup). From a young age, I have always been caring for at least one kind of creature at a time: parakeets, hamsters, cats, even once a capuchin monkey (great story for another time). I also have experience working at a wildlife rehabilitation center - nursing injured or abandoned baby birds, squirrels, turtles, etc. before releasing them back into the wild. My job allows me to work from home, so I have wide availability and always relish the opportunity to get outdoors for a nice, long walk or a run around the park or some good of old-fashioned fetch and/or tug-o-war.
Reviews
Chloe is honestly the best pet sitter ever and I am not just saying this! She has been taking car of my small dog and cat for over two years when I am out of town. The pets love her, she is super responsible and reliable. Follows all instructions to a tee regarding feeding, walks, etc. Sends me pics and texts abut how they are doing. Is not afraid to ask a question if they are acting strangely, just to make sure they are okay. (Not eating or out of the ordinary bathroom stuff.) As far as staying over, I love having her at my place because she leaves it cleaner than when she arrived. (Seriously, last time I came home to a cleaner fridge.) And she is the nicest, coolest person ever. If you are looking for a pet sitter, I cannot say enough good things!
I've lived with Chloe for almost a year now and it became obvious to me as soon as I moved in that she's an animal lover (and pug enthusiast) and that she is by nature very thoughtful and caring and nurturing. A couple of times she's boarded a friend's dog for a few days and I've never seen her be so attentive to or thrilled by the affection of dogs. And she's been known to say things like, "all dogs deserve rewards for not being human," on many occasions. I would trust Chloe implicitly with my pet (if I had one) and I think anyone would be lucky to have her as a caregiver to theirs.
Chloe P. is an amazing pet sitter! She has cat sat for me on several occasions ranging from an easy overnight job to a longer 1 week stay. Not only is my cat happy and healthy every time I come home but my apartment is very tidy and, basically, in better condition than I left it. It's hard for me to trust strangers with my pet and in my apartment but I can honestly recommend Chloe P. for the job!

Information Chloe P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they're unusually aggressive or hostile towards people or other dogs, whether living in close proximity to a docile cat would be unsafe or uncomfortable for either, and how well potty-trained they are/how fond they are of chewing on furniture or shoes or whatever they can find. I have always had a soft spot for pugs, but would be happy to take care of any dog breed.
A typical day
We will probably walk all around the neighborhood (where a lot of other dogs live), spend some time running around with other dogs at the Herbert Von King dog park two blocks from my apartment, or we could venture further (if the dog is physically able to go on those longer walks) to the Brooklyn Bridge Park dog run. When it's idle time or nap time, I have a wonderful fenced patio area in front of my ground floor apartment where we could hang out.
