Hello dog parents of SB! My name is Chloe. I'm an animal lover who has volunteered at SB Humane, CARE 4 Paws, and SB Wildlife Care Network. While in college at UCLA, I fostered puppies, kittens, and even rabbits in my home for various rescues. I also gained 4 years of professional dog-sitting/walking experience through Wag and Rover while living in LA after college. Pre-pandemic, I worked at The Zen Dog boarding and socialization facility in LA with renowned dog trainer Matt Beisner until it sadly closed down permanently due to COVID. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, creeds, and sizes, and am happy to meet your dog wherever they're at behaviorally. I am also pleased to offer drop-in visits, walks of varying intensities based on your pup’s needs, and sitting in your home if needed. I'm happy to provide references outside of Rover reviews if you have any hesitations or questions about me. I totally understand the need to ensure your pet is in great hands - I have a 5 year old rescue Chihuahua mix who I absolutely adore, and I would care for your pup (or cat) as if they were my own. Chloe is the perfect sitter! She was so great with Penny and Penny adored her. She sent tons of pics and updates, got Penny lots of exercise and play and snuggles, and left our house spotless. We came home to a very happy pup and she was sad to say goodbye to Chloe :-)
Romeo had an amazing time being looked after by Chloe. She took him on beautiful walks and truly looked after him like he was her own dog. She sent me many photos of him during his stay so I could rest assured that he was doing well. I could tell when I came to collect him that he loved her and will be so happy to see her whenever we next go away or need care for him. Thank you Chloe!

Chloë took great care of our two dogs and she sent us pictures and updates. When we got to her house to pick up our doggies, they didn’t want to leave! We definitely recommend her.

I'll always be sure to have your permission and guidelines on home and yard privileges, walking style/route, and any behavioral quirks/triggers. I'm determined to set your pup up for success (and fun) so you can have peace of mind.
A typical day
Depending on the dog’s energy level and your preferences, we’ll walk around the neighborhood, or if you're comfortable with me transporting your pup, we'll head to Elings Park, Hendry's Beach, Douglas Preserve or one of the many amazing local trails to get some exercise! Any off leash privileges on any outing would be vetted with you beforehand - safety first!
