Pet care experience
I've pet sit since I was 7 years old- growing up with dogs, cats, chickens, horses and donkeys, I learned how to interact with and care for many types of animals. As it just so happened, I grew most fond of caring for dogs and have found ways to be a part of dogs lives ever since! I've had friend's dogs stay in my home and spend the night, I've watched new puppies, cared for elder dogs with special medical needs, and walked dogs of various shapes and sizes (no discriminations!) - I have two dogs of my own, Rocky (12) and Bixbi (2), both of which are rescues, so I am very familiar with dogs that may experience a degree of timid/tepidness due to their unknown past and enjoy finding ways to make their experience as safe and comfortable as possible.

Chloe has taken care of us three separate times. We are so grateful she has been available when we needed someone. She easily manages the special routines for both pets, and lets me know all is well when I’m gone. Chloe is wonderful!!!
Chloé is the 1st Rover.com Caregiver I’ve used for my Pet Family in my home. She is wonderful! Chloé kept me informed the whole time with special comments about my elderly dog & photos (including one of a full body “sighting” of my skittish cat who always hides from everyone) that greatly reassured me while I was gone. Chloe deserves the highest rating and we look forward to having her again & again!
Chloe was wonderful with my 3 “fur kids”. My Labrador Jaxon took to her right away. He looked so happy when he was out walking and hanging around the house. Chloe even saved my couch cover from the naughty doggy 🤪 My cat Pistachio happily let Chloe pet him at the first meeting (he usually hides under the bed). My Guinea pig Kaytee came out for her veggie treats and feeding. Chloe communicated with me promptly and sent some great pictures. I am grateful to have found her and will definitely book with her again.
Chloe was a new sitter for our puppies and she did an amazing job. They were quite messy in between visits and she took such care and attention to making sure my home was clean when we returned. She was great with communication and pictures and the puppies seemed very happy and content! We will definitely use her again!

I'm an avid ball-thrower for my border collie mix, so wherever a fenced yard exists, I love to throw frisbee/ball/stick (truly, will throw whatever the pups want me to) to help them burn energy and get good exercise. I am also keen on taking dog-led walks, where each pooch has the freedom to set the pace and stop to smell the roses, if they so please! In addition to exercise, I also like to focus on spending quality time with dogs in their home space- to provide them comfort and companionship during my drop-in's, especially if they're the only dog in the home (everyone gets lonely, sometimes!)

A typical day
I love tapping into the specific personalities and preferences of your dogs to help deliver "the best dog day ever" for each walk/visit. Whether it's a scenic walk around the neighborhood with special stops to sniff and explore, taken the path less travelled, or simply engaging in backyard toys and playful activities, I try to offer a variety of activities to keep each dog engaged and on their toes!

I'm currently phasing out of a full-time public accounting job in Los Angeles (remote), and have availability to work with most any schedule- from morning to evening.
