I’m currently a veterinary assistant at WellPets Veterinary clinic/ urgent care, with prior experience at veterinary clinics with boarding. I interact and care for animals on a daily basis, and I would definitely say it’s my passion! I recently obtained my bachelors of science in biology from UNCC. With this degree I plan to further my career in veterinary medicine and hope to attend veterinary school in the near future. I’ve also worked with farm animals and have a reptile, so I can care for reptiles as well. I’m able to give medication (oral, injectable, or topical), as well as administering subcutaneous fluids. I’m also able to provide basic physical therapy for dogs who may have recently had some sort of orthopedic surgery as well as follow proper guidelines to ensure maximal healing. I’m also able to provide basic grooming services- bathing, nail trims, and anal gland expression. I’m an animal lover of all kinds- furry or not, and I would absolutely love to be your next pet sitter/walker.
