I have owned my own dogs for the last 4 years (both working dog breeds kept as pets). Before that I have been looking after family and friends dogs for many years, including my parents dogs which I have part-owned for the last 8 years. I have experience in training puppies (having trained both of my own dogs to a good standard) and looking after poorly dogs. My partner has grown up with wide range of dogs his whole life and his mother was a dog trainer so he has plenty of experience passed down to him in that regard.

We have a good size garden that is fully fenced/gated 6ft high. Both my dogs are very friendly to other dogs but also tend to keep to themselves for the most part. They are used to having other dogs stay with us on occasion and have never had an issue with this. Our dogs sleep on the sofa in the living room and occasionally on the bed but your dog can be kept to sleep downstairs if preferred.

Let me know if your dogs have any particular behaviours that I may need to be aware of, including excessive barking. I am quite sensitive to repetitive noises so my preference is for dogs that don’t bark too much/non stop!
A typical day
I walk my dogs daily at one of the big dog friendly parks within 5 minutes from my house (Catton Park, Sewell Park & Waterloo Park). I will take your dogs here also, either with my dogs as well on their own depending on which is preferred. As mentioned above, I also do some mental stimulation with my dogs via playing with toys, scent games and training so I will plan to do this with your dog/s as well (if they’re interested!)

I work full-time, however I work from home 3 days a week and my partner works from home the days I do not. We have 2 of our own dogs which we schedule around, tending to only leave them up to 4/5 hours at a time. We take them for 5 walks a week (mostly daily) and do bi-daily indoor training exercises for mental stimulation.
