Hi I’m Chloe Britton, I’ve been pet sitting for over a year now ! I’ve been attending dog shows and training our dogs in agility and obedience for my whole life, We currently have 4 scottish terriers we love dearly! So dogs have been the biggest part of my life for a long time, and i’d consider myself very experienced and capable of caring for your pet. A lot of my clients have had bad experiences with sitters, I am not the kind of person you will hire and then I will just leave your house for most of the day. I will ask you if it’s alright if I leave for a short period often I’ll be able to ask the day I meet you about all that so you can enjoy your trip! I always walk and feed pets on time and we definitely get into the routine whilst i watch them. I think I mention this again in the rest of my description but i’ve found and returned a lot of lost dogs and most of the time they got out because of a pet sitter. No animals have ever gotten out while I’ve been watching them, I’m extremely cautious and will small dogs, I always make sure to be with them outside because of coyotes. As i’m in the habit of doing so with my own small dogs. I promise your dog will get all their medications, and I have a lot of experience with animals so i can tell if something isn’t right and inform you immediately. Oh and of course i’ve had many many cat clients and I love spending time with cats. I’ve also owned pet rats for many years so I do love small animals. I’m also pretty familiar with reptiles and I have owned a crested gecko aswell. anyway please let me know if you have any questions i am more than happy to oblige. thank you for your interest!

Chloe housesit and dog sat my sweet 6 month corgi puppy Theo. She followed all the walking and feeding instructions. She also delighted in sending me photo updates from walks and bed time cuddles. It made me feel extra at ease while I was away. She was also super communicative and value all her care. She also put his sweet bandana on him for when I got home, sweet touch.
Chloe was very sweet and good to our dogs. She sent us pictures and updates throughout her stay. She is trustworthy.
Chloe is very sweet with a calm personality, which is a great match for our dog who can sometimes be reactive. Chloe has also been very flexible, coming to our rescue to dog/house sit on short notice and has done "drop in" dog walk/feeding for us. She sends us pictures of our dog to keep us updated, and she is also very respectful to our home. Will be using her services again!

Safety and Trust and Environment : So, I have found many lost animals and returned them all to their owners , and you would be so surprised at how often they tell me the person watching the house for them accidentally let them out ! That is completely not okay to me, my own dogs have never escaped, and neither has any animal i’ve been watching, I am ultra vigilant with front doors and backyard doors / anything leading outside , I make sure your pet is safe and cannot exit the home. I also have been working with dogs so long in so many different environments I can let you know if I observe anything concerning with your pet. You can trust that the doors will be safely locked while I am watching your home, and that you will come back to your home in better condition than you left it or the same condition!

Please let me know your emergency vet, your regular vet, and sadly if an emergency happens the veterinarian needs to know if your animal is a yes or no for resuscitation. I will always put YES RESUSCITATE unless you let me know otherwise ahead of time. I’ve only had one emergency but during that I wasn’t able to contact the owner, so this is all important to know ahead of time incase I can’t reach you ! Please let me know If they have Special Needs, Are very shy or can be food or door aggressive, Any information you think I should know please tell me so I can make your pet as content and cared for as I can.
A typical day
A typical day with me of course involves me doing everything you’ve asked me to! I’d feed your dogs the way they’re supposed to be fed, walk your pups how often you’d like me to , and give them plenty of love and just chill out with them and play with them! I go to my uncles nearly everyday at 6:00pm to walk his dogs, then come back asap . A lot of clients on here have hired sitters that do not actually stay at their home and actually leave for most of the day. You can trust that I have never ever done that, and you will have full transparency with me and when I meet with you in person I will show you any times i’m scheduled to leave and come back whether it’s for a doctors appointment or to meet with another client, you can trust i’ll never be gone more than 3-4 hours in a full day maximum, with the exception of Sundays where I work 8:30am-4:00pm. I will be communicative about that sort of thing!

My schedule: I work Sundays 8:30am-4:00pm at the San Clemente Pier, Monday , Tuesday , Friday, Saturday , and Sunday I walk my uncles dogs in San Clemente. It takes me 30 minutes just to feed them and get them to potty and I’m done ! and heading back to your pups.
