Pet care experience
Hello! I have 25 years of dog experience as a pet owner. There has never been a chapter of my life that didn’t include one or more dogs. I understand the commitment we have to our four legged friends and how hard it can be with leaving them behind when traveling. I treat every dog as if they were my own. Which is with lots of love, play time, and of course the puppy voice that just natural happens lol I’m an owner to a 5 1/2year old chihuahua mix Molly. Molly suffers from severe food allergies so I know how to care for pups that can be a bit itchy and need extra love. Molly is a bit shy when meeting new pet friends but she warms up instantly to cats, so I had a cat to my home to be Molly’s best friend. Russell is a super sweet Tabi that loves, loves dogs!! He is patient, cautious, friendly, and playful to all dogs. Russell also knows not all dogs are cat friendly, so he knows his safe places and respects personal space.

Arcadia is full of busy streets and lots of distractions that can entice a dog to make a run for it when the door opens. That’s why I make sure my pet and the pet I am watching is always fully leashed before opening any doors. When visiting the owners home I always ask what the dogs normal habits are to determine if we got a runner on our hands. If so, I am even more hyper aware when preparing a dog for a walk. Being aware of my surroundings and always being present helps ensure that my dog is safe and the dog I have the privilege of watching is safe as well. My dog and I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy long walks in the evening and early morning. When watching a pet that would be apart of our normal routine, if that is okay with the owner. Does your dog like to run? I am a runner but unfortunately my sweet Molly isn’t very keen on high performance exercise. By the owners request, I would love to take your dog on my daily run. Of course the length of run and amount of running would be suited to your dogs comfort level. Your dog can expect lots of love and cuddles throughout the day.

A typical day
Currently I am training for a marathon so if you have an active dog that needs a good run I’m your person! Playing fetch, learning tricks and going on adventures is what I do best.

Nothing is better then working from home & being able to take breaks to hangout with dogs! Quick walks around my complex throughout the day & long walks in the evening is my normal activity schedule with my dog.
