Experienced Dog Walker/Sitter/Lover
Pet care experience
I have care for my own dogs (a black lab and golden retriever mix and a piebald dachshund) since I was seven years old. In addition I have taken care of the dog, and dogs, of neighbors, family, and friends. I currently work for the dog company Wag!, and I'm ready to see and love more dogs through Rover! In addition, I work alongside a blind man who used to train service dogs (an incredible story that I'm happy to share in person), so I utilize many of those service dog tactics when dealing with the dogs on my sittings/walks. I am trained at handling many emergency situations with dogs, and my observation and caution have prevented multiple scary experiences! I am a student at UC Berkeley, thus my availability varies, but hopefully I can take care of your pup! I also work as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Home Health Aide, so caring for living things runs deep. I often dog walk my neighbors dog for free, I love being able to exercise with a cheerful (panting) companion. I'm an active person, so just say the word and I'll keep your dog active too.
Reviews
Chigozie is one of the best people to take care of your dog. He goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is well taken care of. He is very responsible and trustworthy. He always makes sure he’s on time to take care for your dog and that your dog is left in the upmost of conditions. You will not regret having Chigozie as your dog caregiver.
Chigozie took care of my puppy and did an excellent job. He fed, walked, played, and loved him while I was out on a business trip. Chigozie is who I turn to whenever I need someone to take care of my dog. He treats my house, and pup, with respect and goes above and beyond in pet care. I highly recommend him.
I have personally seen Chigozie walk, feed, and take care of dogs for multiple years. He has a real talent for keeping them composed and well behaved, while making sure they feel at ease and loved. I believe he would be a great dog caregiver because he truly loves dogs and cares about treating them just as how he would treat a human life. His compassion for caregiving always reflects in his service for pet owners, as they are always left 100 percent satisfied with his work. Please allow Chigozie to become a dog caregiver for Rover. He would be a great addition to all of your dog lovers!

Allergies! If there is anything that should not be given to your dog specifically, please make this known. Also if your dog has any trigger words, or what signs your dog will give if it needs to use the restroom or is in pain. Anything that triggers your dog into behaving differently (such as other dogs, squirrels, cats, cars etc). I don't have any breed preferences (but if you own a Rhodesian Ridgeback I would be very excited to care for it).
A typical day
I love to walk in neighborhoods, parks, and many local areas. However, my favorite thing to do with my dogs is hike! Hiking is great exercise and beautiful scenery, without the fear of cars (my dachshund hates cars). Playing fetch, tug of war, giving belly rubs, and throwing fake sticks will all be provided when your dog is with me. If you have any tricks you are teaching your dog, I will make sure to practice them as well!
