I have been taking care of pets for more than 15 years. We always had a pet or several pets as I was growing up. I have always been comfortable around dogs and, recently, cats. Currently, my partner and I have 1 Shih Tzu and 2 mixed breed cats. We take care of them, walk the dog (the cats refuse!), feed them, and play with them everyday. Recently, I’ve been helping with my friend’s 60-pound dog, too, taking him for walks, feeding him and playing with him. I have a soft spot for all pets, but I’d understand if your pet and I don’t match. There might be another sitter/walked they’d be more comfortable with and that’s ok because their best interest is what matters. I hope to meet your pet soon!!
