Veterinary Surgeon - one to one pet care

Pet care experience

My job as veterinary surgeon has always been my passion. I decided to share with the local and nearby community the skills and knowledge that I have learned over 20 years of day and out-of-hours work in small animal practices. I consider myself an hardworking and empathic individual. I offer one-to-one high quality care for pets needing 'solo' walks, energy-burning exercise for highly energetic individuals, post-surgery or treatment rehabilitation, weight management, treatment with medications prescribed by their own vet, slower and gentler exercise for geriatric dogs, short or longer home visits/care, house sitting, home-based monitoring for medical conditions and related treatment (diabetes, hyperthyroidism, blood pressure issues, physical assessment for heart-related disease, neurological problems, and so on...) Offering 'solo' care I will be able to focus entirely on your dog/pet's.

Chiara and her dogs were perfect for my little pup. She sent lots of photos and kept me up to date with his day. He loved it so much he was trying to run back in to continue the fun. Definitely will book again. Thank you for accepting my last minute booking!

Chiara has been looking after my two difficult dogs for a few years now We first met her in vet practice she was working at, She is incredibly professional and amazing with my dogs, I have very nervous rescue, and grumpy border,so it's definitely an interesting combination, but somehow she just knows how to handle them, She is an experienced vet as well, happy to give word of advice anytime

I live in a bungalow surrounded by an enclosed garden. I am well aware of items, food, and products that can be harmful for pets, and I aim to provide a safe and healthy environment for them. I also am very weary or the risks that a pet can be exposed to while on a walk outdoors or interacting for the first time with other animals. My goal is to keep pets and owners happy and satisfied about my service.

My job is to make sure that every pet is happy at the end of my shift. My activities and day plan will be tailored to the needs of each pet, whether that is rehabilitation, physical exercise to burn out some energy, or weigh loss management... :) I will always follow your regular vet's plans and prescriptions. I am flexible in what I can offer and I will commit to regular bookings, or to the odd requests. I live in the Lower Bourne with my three beautiful children and four pets: Otto, a gorgeous English Pointer; Lomu, as you can guess the “All Black” rescue cat; Cila, a 9 weeks old orphan female kitten that I rescued a few months ago; Nelly, a cross Jack Russel 7months old c.a. All of my pets are very friendly and accommodating. I never had problems also with new pets introduced to our family, and after taking a gentle and patient approach to the 'introduction' process :) I'm presently working part time as a vet in Emergency and Critical Care, and I would like to add some spice and cuddles to my week, offering high quality and tailored care for the pets in my neighbourhood and closely area. I am comfortable with caring for one or more pets from the same household, but I tend not to mix pets from different families (besides my own when sensible and suitable).
