Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog sitter since I was 16; as soon as I could drive, I would spend weekends dog-sitting in people’s homes. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, and have experience caring for puppies through senior dogs. I had a dog with diabetes, so I have experience with giving injections and medications. My husband and I are both firefighter/paramedics, so we always have health and safety as a priority for pets, people, and property.

Cheyna rocks! She cared for our dogs many time at our home when we traveled. She is reliable, trustworthy, kind and loves everyone’s fur babies like they were her own! I wish we still lived closer because she would be the number one person I would call every time! She is a blessing!
Cheyna is a sweet, responsible young lady. She loves animals and nature. She has taken care of young puppies to senior dogs. She is great with dogs who have a history of abuse. She is kind, loving, patient, and gives them lots of attention. She spends a lot of time with the animals she sits for, taking them on long walks, playing fetch, and cuddling. She has also taken care of diabetic dogs, giving them their insulin shots two times a day. She is also very trustworthy and dependable, what more can you ask for in a dog sitter? She's amazing!

My husband and I live in a condo not far from Holiday Park and its dog park. For doggie day care, we have plenty of places to walk and explore for exercise! In my profession, we’re trusted to go into peoples homes on a daily basis; integrity is at the core of the career. So in terms of caring for pets in your home, know we are trustworthy candidates!

Pups are like people and have their own personalities and quirks, so I’d just like to know ahead of time if your dog has any characteristics that affect his/her care. I’d also like to know if they need any medications or have special needs so I can take the best care possible.
A typical day
Our activities would depend on what makes your dog happy. Whether it be going on long walks and going to the dog park for more active dogs, or cuddling up on the couch with the sweet seniors and couch potatoes. My husband and I spend every chance outdoors walking and biking, so we have great routes planned out both in the city and in tree-lined neighborhoods and nature parks.

Availability
We currently work 24 hours on, 48 hours off (firefighters on A shift). We have two days in between our work days for hanging with your pups! We currently don’t have any dogs of our own due to our work schedule, but I have a dog-shaped hole in my heart. Taking care of your fur baby will benefit us both!
