Currently I work for A vet center in the Pacific Palisades. Starting, I was a kennel attendant and was quickly promoted in my first 90 days. Now I am working as a veterinary assistant, which is one level below a veterinary technician. I do plan to go to school for my veterinary technician license. The center I work for is currently accredited under the American Animal Hospital Association. In the US alone only 12% of veterinary hospitals are accredited under this association. Since I can remember I've either rescued or had animals in my home. Almost 15+ years of experience with animals and handling. I've lost track on the amount of rescues after 50 but the number never mattered to me. My passion is to work with and love animals unconditionally like they do us. I'm a huge animal advocate, and fully believe fur babies deserve 200% of our love and care. Growing up I've mostly had dogs in my home. Mixed breeds, Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Labs, and anything in between. From training to just good ol kisses I've been known to do it all in my family. Regardless of their "media ruined behavior" I have a huge spot in my heart for Pit Bulls and would eventually like to open my own no kill shelter, not only for Pits, but all animals. Outside of my dog experience I also have over 15+ combined years with the love and care of cats, birds, reptiles (snakes included), fish, and rodents.
