Your pets second best friend!

Pet care experience

I am a life long dog lover, dogs and other animals have always been in my life and are very important to me. I had a yellow Labrador Retriever growing up after she passed my parents got a Beagle, she lived 13 years and when she was 7 my parents got a brown lab and he is 10 now. I currently have a 3 year old corgi and 2 cats. I will also happily take care of any other pets you may have such as rabbits, birds, cats, reptiles, etc. I had a guinea pig for four years and I had a rabbit for six years. I treat every dog and pet like it is my own because I know they are an important member of your family. I'm always the person dogs and cats happily come to right away when I'm out and about. I am available everyday and I am very flexible because I'm an online college student. If I am not available it will be stated in my calendar. I would be happy to watch and walk your pets for you!

I was deeply disturbed by Cheyenne’s incompetence. My dogs are crated for sleeping at night so I needed to count on someone to come in the morning to get them out, feed them, have them relieve themselves, walk them then let them stretch and play for a few hours before her next drop in at noon. Cheyenne failed to wake up . Her excuse was her cell died and her back up alarm clock was knocked down by her cat. She didn’t show up to get my dogs out till noon! She had another job so my dogs suffered from not eating, r being able to relieve themselves and staying in a crate for hours longer till she arrived at noon. She then put them back to in their crates because that was “ what was instructed “. My dogs were not played with, they couldn’t eat in the morning. They barely ate before going back in. Blaming your cat for not waking up is not my problem. This was not a good experience at all. There was no compassion for my dogs, only excuses why her incompetence wasn’t her fault. I am very disappointed and upset how my scheduled visit went horribly wrong. I was away on an international trip and had no back up.I had no way of communicating because I was flying in. When I landed and read my messages, I just cried. I couldn’t drive fast enough to get my dogs and hug them. I apologized to them for leaving them with someone who couldn’t care for them properly. Never again. I know mistakes happen. If you can’t wake up on time, ( she said this wasn’t the first time this happened) , then don’t take any morning visits. 9 am wasn’t an unreasonable call time. I am a Rover sitter but this is the first time I needed someone to take care of mine. I never thought something like this would happen to me or my dogs.
