I have lived with pets my entire life and for the last three years have taken care of my own personal dog, a 98lb chocolate lab who is happy, healthy and well-trained. She matches my lifestyle wonderfully, which is an active and ever adapting one. Swimming, hiking, walking, running, etc. She is excellent with other dogs and she has taught me quite a bit. I have dog sat for multiple families taking care of a wide variety of different breeds and sizes. Every breed and dog has their own personality, needs, and special things that make them who they are so the key is to get to know each dog as their own. My cousin is heavily involved with volunteer work through Novastar Rescue and Big Hair Animal Rescue, Inc. with fostering dogs of all breeds and sizes and advertising for homes. I have experience with rescue dogs in this realm, such as introducing them to new homes and other animals. I understand every dog is different and deserves a safe and happy home to ensure their health!
