Pet care experience
I have had cats in my life since i was little. Taking care of them is like second nature to me at this point! I recently lost my childhood cat back in January to old age and my other childhood cat is back home in North Carolina with my parents. When my cat was alive, I had a backpack that she loved to go in and we'd go for walks and roadtrips and she's even been to the grand canyon! I joined Rover because I miss having a cat around every once in a while. Since I work from home, watching your cat(s) will be a great opportunity for not only me, but for the pets as well, because I have a lot of love to give. I offer quality play time and cuddles, food and clean water, frequent updates and pictures, administration of pet medication if needed, senior cat care, and lots of love and attention.

Cheyenne took great care of our cat Kingston. He was immediately comfortable with her. She sent daily updates and pictures and treated Kingston really nicely. Cheyenne was responsive, punctual and easy to work with. I will not hesitate to work with her again.
Cheyenne was an amazing carer to our anxious kitty. He really hates leaving home and is very anxious of strangers. Cheyenne was so patient and kind, gave him space and allowed him to take his time to warm up to her, which he did in no time! She kept us updated on how he’s doing and was so kind to help us pack his stuff when we picked him up. I highly recommend Cheyenne! We will definitely choose her for future stays.
Cheyenne was a pleasure to work with. Communication was easy and thorough. She provided short summaries of her drop-ins and shared pictures each visit. We felt confident and at-ease knowing our cat was being well taken care of while we were away. Highly recommend!

Let me know if your cat has any specific wants or needs to feel comfortable during their stay. Do they have a specific diet? How comfortable are they with new people? All I ask is that you bring all the required supplies (litter box, food, toys, etc) and that they are clean and have no fleas or bugs.
A typical day
I am a cat sitter only, so here at my apartment, they will feel right at home with no foreign smells. We will play with their favorite toys and catnip if that's their thing!
