Pet care experience
Though I've cared for animals my entire life, I've dealt with dogs from all backgrounds and ages for the past six years, from shy shelter dogs to unruly puppies, even elderly dogs. Over the course of time, I've learned that physical and mental exercise is crucial for the health and well-being of our beloved pets, especially dogs.

Your pet's safety is my biggest priority; having said that, as a dog walker, one of the essential safety measures I take is gauging temperature. Walking dogs on a hot day is something I will not do as their paws can burn; during these days, I request that the walk be scheduled for before 11 am-12noon. Further, ensuring the pet has proper walking attire (a collar that's not loose, appropriate lead length) is also essential for the dog's safety. Finally, as is standard, during the walk, I generally carry poop bags and a water bowl/ dispenser for especially long walks.

Availability
I am a full-time college student (senior standing), but I currently have multiple days in my schedule open. I would enjoy the opportunity to fill the gaps in my schedule with the three things I love: dogs, walks, and nature. I am flexible with timing, with early to mid-morning preferred; however, to reiterate, I am flexible with scheduling.
