Between Deer Park and Spokane. (1st roundabout into Deer Park) About me: -Former Zoo Animal Keeper and Breeder Kennel Attendant. -Photographer - so pictures will be sent for sure each day (or more often!) -I enjoy training dogs, simple commands, not pulling the leash, socializing (if Owner permits) -Nature Lover, with permission will take your dog(s) on adventures by the many lakes near my house and close by areas, parks to socialize, and around the house to look at all the farm animals. ((Looking for training bookings, so I can have more practice when I get my next dog to become a therapy dog.)) Experienced in caring for a little of everything now (including exotics @ a zoo): -All sized dogs from tea cup chihuahuas, Mini Schnauzers (my favorite!) up to Bernese Mountain & Rhodesian Ridgebacks. -New born litters (VERY NEW) of various sizes -Puppies- that think everything belongs in their mouth, and need more exercise/training & patience -Adults/Seniors** both normal and special needs (blind, deaf, seizures, @ end of life etc) **ramp available for older dogs or dogs with hip issues or just need it** A few Home details: -Two adults in home, experienced in training and caring for dogs, myself and my roommate. - Dogs ARE allowed on the couches, and the bed unless they have a crate to sleep in. -Customized ramp to enter and exit the door w/o requiring to be lifted. -Non smoking, no personal dogs anymore (sadly), no cats, and no children currently in the house. -Large fenced yard to explore the smell of deer and other wildlife that graze in it, dog is always supervised and always leashed. -Indoor and Outdoor shower for bathing requests, and to rinse off any muddy paws before coming inside or going home. -Numerous lakes and streams near by to go walk and explore In closing: I'm obsessed with animals, I've attended some school for animal science, most of my knowledge comes from hands on trial and error with my own dogs, and hands on learning through employment at a Zoo in California, and a dog breeder here in Washington, and 20+ years of owning and training personal dogs. --->>>We will go over a checklist about your dog and the stay at the time of pick up/drop off. I have references from my last jobs working with dogs: breeding cleaning training grooming etc, dog boarding several dogs up to a week at a time for friends and neighbors.
