Stay Home Dog Lover/Love to Help!
Pet care experience
My home is comfortable and welcoming. I am very patient and understanding with animals, I try to show that I am open to their approach and interaction, but not pushy for it. They usually come to me when they are ready. I have not been a professional pet sitter in the past, but have often taken care of friends cats and dogs for overnights, weekends, and sometimes longer when needed. I lost my 7 year old yellow lab, Kelli, to diabetes and pneumonia in June 2016 so having other fur babies to care for has been very healing. I also fostered two senior dogs in 2016, but currently I do not have any fosters since they were both adopted (one by a Rover client of mine!).
Reviews

Cheyenne was so sweet and great communicator! She always replied back quick and provided photos throughout dexters stay. She was very patient and understanding of all of dexters quirks and behaviors and seemed very knowledgeable on dogs! Thank you Cheyenne!!

Cheyanne was great with my pup during her boarding. She sent plenty of pictures and kept me updated on how my dog was doing. I felt very comfortable leaving Rebel with Cheyanne and will definitely be doing so again in the future. Her home is great, with a spacious yard in the back.

Cheyanne was so great with Charley and easy to communicate with! She sent great updates and I didn’t have to worry about Charley at all during my weekend trip!

Cheyanne took great care of my dog. She is very communicative and is knowledgeable about dogs in general. My dog LOVES her back yard. I recommend her for sure.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fenced in, I'm cautious with introductions, and will only keep pups from different homes if okay with all owners and the pups can be separated but get along okay. I usually only have one at a time unless another request comes in and it works for all.

Information Cheyanne W. would like to know about your pet
No specific breed preferences. Would like to know that the dog is house trained, any specific needs or requirements, usual routine and temperament (in general and with other dogs), best way to introduce people, and any other preferences or quirks. Wake up/sleep times, where do they like to sleep (can it be with me), like blankets/pillows or not, familiar with a backyard or apartment only, any specific routines for feeding (prep and serving process, shy pooper/ how many times a day, scared of vacuum/storms etc? Anything else like that you can think of always helps.
A typical day
We can walk in the neighborhood and for longer nature walks, there is a greenbelt hiking trail in my subdivision with a nearby park. We can also just hang out in the backyard playing ball and walking around the garden.

Availability
I work from home and occasionally leave for errands or dinner. Take them with me when I can like if just dropping my son off, going to the bank, or checking mail.
