I'm going to be honest. I've never had my own dog, but only because I've never been allowed to. However, as a young child I was placed into the foster system and some of the homes I went to fostered dogs from the ASPCA (VOSPCA). So by watching, I've learned tons about them. One of the major things that I've learned is (besides what Ceaser, the dog whisperer says, you don't whisper to dogs. You listen to them. Give them a chance to whisper to you...because they will. Dogs put a smile on my face no matter the breed, or even the size. They all do. Whenever I was deeply depressed or even just the slightest bit upset, I'd look at a dog's tail wagging and somehow their happiness reflected onto me. They are truly a man's best friend, and I'd be honored to make a dog's day by walking them or dropping by for a quick visit. Now obviously, with me being a 19 year old college student, I could use the cash now more then ever, but I can promise that I'm not walking towards the income! I'm walking towards the dog's happiness :)
