Pet care experience
Hello! I am currently a pre-veterinary student at Eastern Kentucky University and have been a veterinary assistant at a local clinic for over 4 years. I have been around pets of all shapes and sizes since I was a child and have experience with a wide range of species. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, fish, goats, horses, farm livestock and even some reptiles. In the past, I have cared for the pets of family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors where I walk, feed, bathe, play with, administer medications, and provide their pet with a loving environment while their owner is away. As a pet owner myself and veterinary assistant I am knowledgeable in caring for pets both young and old, as well as those with special needs.

Cheyanne was wonderful!! She was able to help with my animals in a crunch and provided detailed updates each day. She was comfortable with last minute requests and was super responsive. I would highly recommend her!
Great experience! Cheyanne done a drop in visit for my 4 cats while we were out of town for Thanksgiving. She sent pictures to me when she dropped in which gave me peace of mind knowing everything was ok. She fed them and cleaned out the litter boxes. Will definitely be booking again
Cheyenne was wonderful, and loved my fur babies. I received several pictures daily from her during her visits, and she got my mail every day. I would highly recommend her; I will definitely use her again!!!!

I live on a gated farm with a fenced yard surrounding my house. I have one indoor cat who generally loves other pets but prefers to stay in my room most of the day and can be kept separate from your pet if requested. I aim to make my home as safe as possible for my pet and yours, meaning all household cleaners/chemicals/hazardous materials/foods are properly stored away and unable to be easily accessed.

A typical day
What I do during the day will vary per owner and pet. If your dog likes to go for walks, I have 36 acres to take them exploring! My fenced yard provides a great place for off-leash fun: playing fetch, running around, or even just laying in the sun. If your pet is older, has special needs, or just prefers the indoors- my home is a quiet and safe environment for them to catch up on their beauty sleep. If your pet has limited mobility, my home has no stairs to would inconvenience them. DISCLAIMER: There are four steps that lead up to my house, if your dog is larger than 65lbs I am unfortunately unable to safely carry them.
