Pet care experience

Hi! I am Cheyanne! I am a dog and cat lover living in Phoenix. I will treat your pet as my own and love all breeds! I'm high energy (My day job is working as a fitness professional/health coach!) and can keep up with a high energy pup! I will even take them on a run if I have you and your vets permission to do so. I am a pet owner myself to a beagles Mardi and Tiana, a Maine Coon cat (Onyx), and a tortoiseshell cat (Milkshake), so I understand the importance of proper pet care and wanting to make sure your pet is safe and happy while you are away! I have been taking care of pets for over 17 years, including my own fur babies and friends fur babies. My dog and I are a pet therapy team and I have a wealth of experience volunteering with rescues. I can help with positive reinforcement training and medication administration. I will be happy to take care of dogs and cats. As far as availability, I work 12:30-9 PM Monday-Friday, so mornings are pretty wide open. I will also be willing to do drop ins after work. I have full availability on weekends. I am happy to clean up, scoop litter boxes, and administer medications. If you would like me to take your pup to a local dog park, walk, run, play, let me know and I will make it happen! I am in the process of getting pet CPR certified to ensure your pets ultimate safety!

Cheyanne has been a wonderful dog mom for many years. She is a warm and kind person with a big heart for both humans and animals of all kinds. I would recommend her to watch your animals. Cyndy R.

Information Cheyanne L. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I’m comfortable with working with what works for you and your dog to get the most out of their visits.

A typical day

I am big on canine enrichment and positive reinforcement! I can help make meal time fun by using puzzle toys to feed them their normal meals, which has been shown to mentally and physically tire them out. Not to mention it helps slow down fast eaters, which leads to improved digestion. I’m a believer in both physical and mental exercise. I like to include basic positive reinforcement training into playtime, such as olaying tug, asking them to go into a “down” and repeat. I can also help work on any leash training the dogs might have problems with .
